Manufacturers Warranty
Information:
Sterling
Computer Sales resells high quality notebook computers.
The manufacturers warranty term is one year beginning on the date of invoice.
The TH2 notebooks offer a 1 year manufacturers warranty. This
warranty can be extended to a 2 year express care warranty where
shipping will be paid for both ways. The Odyssey notebooks have a
standard 3 year manufacturers warranty.
Damage due to
shipping the products to you is covered under this warranty. Otherwise,
this warranty does not cover damage due to external causes, including
accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power, servicing not
authorized by Sterling, failure to perform required preventive
maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and components not
supplied by Sterling.
This warranty does
not cover any items that are in one or more of the following categories:
software; sound cards; speakers; external devices; accessories or parts
added to a Sterling system after the system is shipped from Sterling;
accessories or parts added to a Sterling system through Sterling's system
integration department; accessories or parts that are not installed in the
Sterling factory.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES
YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY
FROM STATE TO STATE (OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION). STERLING'S
RESPONSIBILITY FOR MALFUNCTIONS AND DEFECTS IN HARDWARE IS LIMITED TO
REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT AS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY STATEMENT. ALL
EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED
TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD
SET FORTH ABOVE AND NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY
AFTER SUCH PERIOD. SOME STATES (OR JURISDICTIONS) DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS
ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT
APPLY TO YOU.

Return Policy:
When you purchase a
notebook computer from Sterling, we will try our best to support and
service the machine under the warranty period. All Sales are final.
All notebooks are non-returnable.
No Returns are
accepted after the sale is completed.
1.
All notebooks are non-returnable.
2. No
refunds on software or supplies.
3. Sterling will
repair and support the product under the warranty period only.
To request warranty
service, you must call Sterling or the 1-800 number on the back of our
Odyssey Notebooks within the warranty period. If
warranty service is required, Sterling will issue a Return Material
Authorization Number, (RMA). You must ship the unit back to
Sterling in
their original or equivalent packaging, prepay shipping charges, and
insure the shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment.
Sterling will ship the repaired or replacement products to you freight
prepaid if you use an address in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico and U.S.
possessions). Shipments to other locations will be made freight collect.
Sterling
owns all parts removed from repaired notebooks. If Sterling repairs or replaces
a notebook computer, its warranty term is not extended.

Sterling
or its suppliers will not be liable for direct,
indirect or consequential damages resulting from any defect in any
software, even if Sterling has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Sterling
does not guarantee any software as to its functionality or
licensing. Sterling will install all necessary drivers during its
testing phase for all notebook computers prior to delivery.
